In lieu of a final exam, each students will complete an individual class project, which involves independent exploration of tools or practical aspects related to one of the topics discussed in class. More information on project timeline and suggestions for project topics are given on the project page. Graduate students will complete an additional research-related component for their project, as mentioned below.
Graduate students (and undergraduates taking this course for contract honors) complete a series of research-related assignments in addition to the regular class assignments, and are required to complete an additional research-focused component to the class final project.
